
MEET AYLA
Hi! I’m Ayla (pronounced Kayla, without the K) – the heart and soul behind Events by Ayla. As your creative designer, wedding planner, and professional chaos organizer, I take care of each detail to ensure everything runs smoothly and all aspects of your big day are truly unforgettable. Originally from Homer, Alaska, I now call the Mat Su Valley home with my husband Kyle, our three little boys, and sweet black lab, Oakley.
If we’re getting fancy, I have Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Alaska, I’m a Certified International Event and Wedding Professional, as well as a Certified International Event Decor Professional. After college, in 2019, I was determined to combine my passion for helping people with my love for event planning, and that’s how Events by Ayla, LLC was born!
My mission is to bring value and a meaningful impact on every couple I work with and every wedding I help create. Planning weddings has always been my passion – I adore the personalization, intricate elements, and creativity involved. While I’ll always cherish a well-crafted plan and beautiful details, nothing brings me more happiness than seeing people come together and celebrate. This brings a deeper sense of purpose and joy to what I do!
As a working mom of three, wife, and business owner, one of my core values is quality over quantity and providing each one of my couples with an intimate planning experience that is as celebratory as the big day itself – which is why I only fill my scheudle with a limited number of weddings each year.
