MEET AYLA

 

Hi! I’m Ayla (pronounced Kayla without the K) – the owner +  founder of Events by Ayla. I am also the designer, planner and coordinator behind the scenes on your big day. I was born and raised in Homer, Alaska and currently live in the Mat Su Valley with my husband Kyle, our three little boys and sweet black lab Oakley.

If we’re getting fancy, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Alaska. Additionally, I am a Certified International Event and Wedding Professional as well as a Certified International Event Decor Professional. After college, I started dreaming of a way I could help people and add purpose to their lives while also incorporating my passions – and that’s when Events by Ayla, LLC was created!

I strive to add value to everyone I meet and everything I touch and I’m so excited to work with you to dream, plan and turn your vision into a reality! My passion has always been planning weddings – I love the personalization, details, and creativity involved. Although I will always adore a solid plan with beautiful details, nothing gives more life to me than people gathering together. This brings a deeper sense of purpose and happiness to what I do.

Being a working mom, wife and business owner – one of my core values is quality over quantity and providing each of my couples with an intimate planning experience that is as celebratory as the big day itself – which is why I only fill my schedule with a limited number of weddings each year.
